The Adirondack Fall Classic started back in the mid ’90s when Dan Gorney, Timer Whittingham, Bill Haverinen and Todd May started inviting their golf cronies up to Queensbury, New York for a few days of fall golf and fun at some of the southern Adirondacks’ most notable courses.

The event became an annual tradition, played some local favorite courses - Glens Falls Country Club, The Sagamore Resort, Hiland Golf Club & Saratoga National.

After a prolonged hiatus, Dan’s three sons - Chris, Brett, and Matt - have decided to revive the event as a way to honor “D-Go” and the boys and the tradition they started and always loved to host each fall.

This year’s event includes rounds at The Sagamore and Hiland Park, plus a bonus nine hole scramble under the lights at the infamous Sunnyside Par 3.
